Nico Weberi and Annemari Jaeggi
Director Nico Weber has created an unfinished director´s cut version, to be screened especially at this event. The film deals with, for instance, the new challenges of the Bauhaus Archiv (and Museum für Gestaltung) located in Berlin, which owns the world’s largest Bauhaus collections, and about elegantly constructing the new buildings, for which an architectural competition was organized for the Bauhaus Archive grounds in Berlin. In addition to the director of the film, Annemarie Jaeggi, director of the Bauhaus Archiv, will also be there.
Discussion of the reorganizing of the Bauhaus collections and upcoming exhibitions. We can also discuss the project of the new Architecture and Design Museum in Helsinki and the expectations regarding it: What are the new challenges of presenting architecture and design?

In the outer foyer in the so-called side theatre, there is a free program of short films and an architecture model exhibition organized by the Museum of Architecture. Some of the films are related to Ark Rex’s collaboration with the famous Louisiana Art Museum in Denmark’s own Louisiana Channel, which produces films and videos about the arts. There are interviews with famous architects plus films about best new architecture with wood.

In 2023, the Swiss and Danish embassies have also supported the event.
